We understand that not everyone has the space or time to foster or adopt a dog, or even spare time for themselves! You can still help out by donating money or supplies to It’s a Pittie Rescue! Because It’s a Pittie pulls dogs from shelter death rows and other unfortunate situations, many of the dogs need veterinary care. Some of our dogs have been beaten, abused, or neglected and require immediate veterinary care. The other dogs who have escaped relatively unharmed still need routine veterinary care, spay/neuter surgery, food, medication, crates, and other supplies.
We accept all donations, no amount is too small! Every cent helps a dog in need. If you don’t have the spare cash, but possibly have spare dog supplies that your puppy grew out of, we accept those as well! If you would like to donate the supplies you might still have around from a past best friend, you can donate those items in their memory to help a dog in need.
Here are a few examples of the things our pitties need:
- Dog beds
- Toys (preferably unstuffed and/or “hardy” toys)
- Food (premium/grain-free food)
- Peanut butter
- Canned pumpkin
- Shampoos, conditioners, and other bath supplies
- Short hair brushes
- Nail clippers
- Dog clothing (bandannas, sweaters)
- Pet store gift cards
- Gas cards (for transport)
Again, anything you can spare can and will help dogs in need! Please click the donate button below or on the upper right to donate money. If you have supplies to donate, you can contact us by visiting our “Contact us” page, emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, calling us at (708) 792-3311, or dropping us a line on Facebook. We hope to hear from you soon!
