Village of Peotone “Kid’s Fest”
The Village of Peotone is holding “Kid’s Fest” on Saturday, June 25.
This event is being held in the downtown business district of Peotone from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The village is encouraging local businesses and organizations within the Peotone 207U School district to participate in this event which is designed to provide a day of fun and entertainment for children of all abilities. This is an outdoor event, rain or shine.
The cost of participation is to provide an activity or handout for children of all abilities. You then may promote your business or organization so all those attending see what our community has to offer. Home businesses (such as Pampered Chef, Avon, etc.) will be accepted on a first come, first reserved basis as to avoid duplication. Businesses are welcome to sell product and organizations can use this event as a way to raise funds for their cause.
In conjunction with this, “Touch a Truck” is also being held. This is an opportunity for kids as well as adults to see and ask questions about vehicles of all kinds.
The Peotone Farmer’s Market will be held on North Street in front of the Peotone American Legion on Saturday, June 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Also later in the day on Saturday, June 25 the Peotone Park District will hold a “Party in the Park”. Additional details will be available soon on the Park District’s event.
