Our Adoption Rates (as of Sept 2022):

- $450 for under 12 months
- $350 for 12 months and up

- $461.25 for under 12 months
- $358.75 for 12 months and up
Training Deposit:
$50 training deposit is required for dogs under 12 months & already included in the adoption rates above (refunded upon completion within the time frame in contract).
Adoption Process:
To be an eligible adopter, you must be over 21 years of age and complete the following:
-Adoption Application
-Background check
-Reference calls
-Veterinarian check
-Home visit
After you are approved for adoption, we arrange meet and greets for you to find your new best friend.
NOTE: Please note that it may take some time to complete each step, even after the Home visit. This is an all volunteer rescue and there are multiple people involved with the process. Any concerns should be addressed with your adoption processor.
Common Questions:
– How far away can an adopter be? We adopt within 3 hours of the Chicagoland area.
– Do we allow out of state adoptions? Yes we adopt within 3 hours of the Chicagoland area. The app has to be stellar and we will only adopt out a fully vetted dog, meaning no puppies that are still waiting for spay/neuter will be adopted out of state.
– What age does a pup have to be before it can go to a home with no dogs? Dogs under 6 months must go to a home with other dogs. Even some older than 6 months will be required to be in a home with other dogs. Depends on the dog.
– How old does an applicant have to be? You must be over 21 years of age to complete the Adoption Application.
